Suction Cup Dentures are a phenomenal advancement in the making of dentures. A suction cup denture looks like a regular denture, except that on the underside of the denture there are numerous small suction cups that are formed from a soft resilient silicone rubber. These suction cups engage into the patients gum tissue gently gripping on. This procedure creates a holding capacity similar to an octopus tentacle. The net effect is a more retentive and stabilized denture. Suction Cup Dentures give up to 25% additional retention than all other dentures. They are specially recommended for patients with flat upper and lower ridges. These dentures eliminate a number of problems caused by loose dentures such as sore spots, jaw aches, trouble chewing etc. |
